Don’t be afraid to run the Sarell roller over the square to let a little more air into the roots this month. As we draw towards the end of the month its a good time to grab some soil samples and get them tested to update your fertiliser programmes in readiness for spring treatments.
Once the frosts stop a quick cut will keep the square tidy but give it a brush first to remove some of the moisture.
